Yamuna kinare aaye gopiyo, ghar ghar ke shringar

Nariyo ke manohar leeyo Shyam Sanvariyaa

 

Radha dances, the dear ones (Gopis) dance, amongst them dances Krishna, the son of Nanda.

The gopikas have come to the banks of the Yamuna like adorned jewels from the various homes in Vraja.

Their tinkling anklets chant Krishna’s name. 

Krishna plays the divine flute, His flute calls out their names.

The dark hued enchanter steals their hearts.
